INTERTWINED: THE SPIRIT OF WUXING SAGA will be a special hardcover premium edition of our Kung Fu Noir immigrant led series, binding the entire story (and much more) into a single 316-pages volume.

Hi. I’m Fabrice Sapolsky. I co-created the world of INTERTWINED with Fred Pham-Chuong. Between 2016 and 2023, we released a mini-series, a softcover collection, a spin off and several rounds of bonus material (originally launched on Kickstarter). In total, INTERTWINED has sold over 4000 copies and has fans all across the globe.

Every print run of the series has sold out. So, before we move to the next chapter of our exciting story, we wanted to re-offer all our existing body of work into a single premium collection. But, since we could not resist… We added something really special in this book. Why now? Because everything INTERTWINED is sold out, as I mentioned, and also, because it’s both AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month and Jewish American Heritage Month. Two communities highlighted in this series (among others).

WHAT’S INTERTWINED: THE SPIRIT OF WUXING SAGA ABOUT?

It all starts with a murder mystery.
For centuries, the Mighty Elements (the WuXing) have picked their champions, their Spirits, to defend them. First, operating out of China and Asia, then the world, the five Spirits of WuXing worked alone and as a team. Spirits of Earth, Water, Wood, Fire and Metal lived in perfect harmony. Until that day in 1971 when one Spirit is brutally murdered. This triggers a chain of event that leaves the universe unbalanced.
New Spirits are called. Alliances are forged. Lives are shattered. And the world will never be the same.

At heart, INTERTWINED is about finding your place in the world. It’s a hero’s journey from the perspective of an immigrant. And it’s full of very very accurate KUNG FU!
