Cantor Jodi Schechtman is the Spiritual Leader of Temple Beth Am in Framingham, Massachusetts, where she has served since her ordination in 1988, and she is the Director of Organizational Partnerships for the American Conference of Cantors. She has been married to Gene Laks for almost 27 years, and they are the proud parents of Madison Shayne Laks (a sophomore at the University of Connecticut), as well as a menagerie of rescue dogs and cats.
