Batia Eyob-Serrette is an organizational consultant and social entrepreneur born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After making Aliyah to Israel at the age of ten, she later settled in Montreal, where she earned a BA in Applied Social Sciences, and in Jerusalem, where she completed an MA from the Hebrew University.
A former Executive Director of the Israel Association for Ethiopian Jews (IAEJ), Batia has dedicated her career to advancing social equity, cultural inclusion, and leadership within the Ethiopian-Israeli community. She lives in New York City with her three daughters and works as a consultant to small businesses and non-profit organizations
