Be’chol Lashon invites all Jews of Color to submit creative works sharing how Judaism influences your response to our current times. However, we feel right now is what we need to feel. Whatever art we create right now is the art that needs to be made. We hope to gather different voices, from people of all ages and backgrounds to share stories, connect, and empower each other.

We know we are living at a time of immense stress and uncertainty. As we navigate the chaos together, Be’chol Lashon hopes to provide an outlet for people to process in creative ways. If you feel like you have a story to tell, we invite you to do that here. If you want to explore the ways that your Judaism can help you navigate this time in a creative way, we’d love for you to share your work. If creative outlets have always been your way of coping, or if all you needed was an invitation to try out tapping into your creative side, we welcome what you have to share. Be’chol Lashon hopes that the process of creating can be meaningful and healing for Jews of Color during this time and that our collection of works can connect us all.

Who: Jews of Color With Creativity to Share

We are using the term Jews of Color to speak to the many non-white and non-Ashkenazi identities in Jewish life, from Black, Asia, and Latinae Jews, to mixed-race Jews, Middle Eastern, North African, Ethiopian, Indian and Indigenous Americans.

What: Share a creative piece (all visual, written, and performance mediums welcome) that represents how Judaism/being Jewish influences your response to the moment we are living in.
